Getting your driver’s license is an exciting milestone of your teenage years – a gateway to freedom and independence as you’ve never experienced! Learning to drive seems pretty simple: turn the car on, put it in Drive, step on the gas, and away you go. Of course, you know, there’s so much more to it – especially when car accidents remain the number one cause of death among teenagers.

 

Driving is a privilege and a huge responsibility – one that your parents hope you will take seriously. There’s a lot to consider – how will you handle crowded roadways, changeable weather conditions, and tempting distractions such as cell phones, iPods, GPS units, and friends in the car? Let’s face it, parents worry, so here’s a chance to take the first step in proving to them you have what it takes to be a safe and responsible driver.

 

When you sign-up for Teen Track, we’ll notify your parents that you’re interested in becoming a safe driver and allowing them to monitor your driver’s license by enrolling you as a Teen Track driver. This means they will be alerted of any changes on your driving record (like if your license is about to expire or become suspended or revoked, or if you get into an accident or are convicted of a moving violation). Teen Track will also send them a Safe Driving Pledge for you to review and sign together. 

 

You’ll also get awesome driving tips, learn interesting facts, and raise money for your school. It couldn’t be easier – instead of washing cars, you’ll be driving – safely!
